In collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce in Japan (CCIFJ), we are pleased to invite you to the first JMEC Business Innovation² event of 2016! The event will be hosted at the French Chamber offices near Yotsuya Station.

This event series features business speakers presenting on current topics in the areas of business innovation, strategy, and marketing—as well as professional development and training.

Come and listen to our keynote speakers, enjoy a nice buffet, French wines and other drinks—and meet old and new JMEC friends!

STRATEGIC BUSINESS INNOVATION
3 Ways to Survive Technology Disruption
by Meri Rosich

In her talk Meri will focus on the challenge facing most companies these days—business disruption caused by new and unexpected innovation, often by start-ups and small companies, and frequently enabled by new technologies—and strategies for how your company can survive such business disruption!

Meri Rosich is an international executive who has worked in New York, London, Barcelona and in the past 10 years in Asia—and now based in Tokyo. She is currently working with several start-ups and is an advisor to the Board of VIZR Tech, a young technology company providing wearable and augmented reality healthcare solutions for Google Glass and Cardboard.

Born in Barcelona, Spain, in her past career Meri held several positions at American Express in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Greater China, including as Director of Strategy and Business Development. Later she co-founded Quality Time Lab in Singapore; a provider of real time communications and augmented reality apps and solutions. Before moving to Tokyo, Meri was Head of Marketing & Communications at Samsung in Singapore—where she built and lead a team to promote games, apps, content and other services across Asia Pacific.

Meri has a PhD in 3D technology innovation, MBA from London Business School, and a Master of Fine Art from the University of Barcelona.

DEVELOPING GLOBAL LEADERS
A Different Perspective
by Piotr Grzywacz

Piotr is passionate about helping people become agile learners, sparking innovation, and handling complex challenges which have no easy answers. In his talk he will provide an interesting and different focus on developing global leaders, which you may not want to miss!

Piotr Feliks Grzywacz is a Tokyo-based entrepreneur and leadership development expert. He is the Founder & CEO of Pronoia Group, helping individuals, teams and global organizations succeed in the new global business world—providing insights, trainining and consulting services.

Prior to starting Pronoia Group, Piotr was Head of Learning Strategy at Google in Tokyo, leading innovation projects to empower Google employees across Asia and globally and help them perform to the best of their potential. In his earlier career he was Vice President of Learning & Development at Morgan Stanley in Japan, and before that, APAC Head of Global Business Solutions at Berlitz.

Born in Poland, Piotr has extensive international experience, having worked in Germany, Belgium, Holland and Japan—and for the past 15 years in Asia and globally. He has two Master of Arts degrees in linguistics, and several post-graduate certifications— and is currently working on a PhD of Business Administration in Management Consulting at Henley Business School.

When: Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 19:00-21:30. Doors open 18:30.

Entry Fee: ¥4,000 prepaid by card, ATM or 'convini'.

The entry ticket includes an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet with French wines and other drinks.
